We’ve had our new VIP HOT YOGA classes running for around a month now! Now, after the dust has settled, let’s look at exactly what you’re getting yourself into!

It’s time for hot yoga classes! Strand Fitness is offering something quite unique; not just for a Townsville gym but Australia-wide!

We don’t just offer ‘Yoga’…

We have managed to go 100 steps further to offer you more Yoga then you knew existed! Hot Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Forrest Yoga, Yin Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga.

Firstly, we’ve installed top of the range, far-reaching InfraRed panels. Offering considerable benefits to our students with no blinding or burning effects from using harsh infrared lights. Benefits include

  • Increases Circulation with no additional pressure on the heart
  • Will improve the levels of oxygen and white blood cells in the blood
  • Helps reduce the toxins in the body from increased sweating
  • Great for healing skin problems, relieve joint aches and pain and relieves muscle pain and spasms

The VIP offering gives students the choice of over 20 yoga classes a week. In addition to, unlimited access to the local pool, unlimited GRIT, 24hr access to the gym and all group fitness classes. This is proof that at Strand Fitness we are not just interested in numbers we are interested in making Health and Fitness a part of your lifestyle.

We have a highly trained teaching team collectively attaining over 1600 teacher training hours from training in India, UK and Australia. The majority of teachers are trained in more than one discipline so each class you go to you will experience a whole new teaching perspective. Continual development is key here at Strand Fitness with teachers encouraged to complete at least an additional 100hrs training each year. WHY? So that we continue delivering a top-class experience.

We offer clients differing levels so beginners can learn at their own pace and advanced practitioners can practice a more challenging series. Three levels in between enable our students to progress and continually play with their edge. Our teachers will scale the classes depending on capability and offer alternatives for injuries, and ability.
