We have a position available for a casual ‘All-Rounder’ to join our growing Team here at the Strand Fitness Group as our team.


The ideal candidate will be energetic, friendly and enjoy working with people of all ages, including very young children and parents. As well as providing amazing customer service to our members and guests, you also will supervise babies and children up to 12 years of age, attend to their needs, assist in organising activities and keep the facility and equipment clean and safe.

You must have great attention to detail and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Social media platforms. Be a bright, confident, outgoing and people orientated personality and understand the importance of maintaining a clean & hygienic working environment. The role of our Customer Care and Membership Consultant involves identifying prospective members’ health and fitness needs and tailoring the best possible membership solution for them. You will represent the business in a positive, friendly and professional manner whilst achieving both individual and team goals/targets as set out by management. As a customer care and membership consultant you are the warm welcome to anyone who walks through the door.


Taking care of our littlest members in our creche. Our Crèche is a service exclusive to our Strand Fitness members and is available 6 days a week. The Crèche is a safe and fun place for children to play, laugh and interact with other children whilst parents/caregivers are utilising our facilities.


As an all rounder you will be required to ensure that you maintain our atmosphere inline with our core values of creating a world class experience for our members. This includes cleaning of all areas within the gym vicinity both indoor and outdoor areas including, bathrooms, equipment, creche, staff and office areas.

  • Ability to work on a rotating roster, including early mornings and weekends
  • Friendly, caring and enthusiastic personality and positive communication to all customers
  • Self-motivated, ability to work autonomously and initiate on the job
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Full Australian work rights
  • Valid QLD Working with Children Blue Card
  • Minimum 1 year experience in child care
  • First Aid Certificate/ CPR Certificate
  • Proven knowledge of WH&S
  • Availability days, nights and Saturdays, and availability to work ‘split shifts’
  • A strong customer focus/service orientation
