I think my youth was quite similar to a lot of people, in that I struggled with self-image, and having a very low self-esteem. This got worse in my early twenties, as I was unfit and overweight, and really didn’t know what to do to break out of that situation. That started to change once I found sport, and found something that I loved while also being a way to show myself what I was capable of. I did find though, that without someone to guide me through the processes and teach me the right ways to do things, I wasted years of my time doing many things the wrong way. From training, to nutrition, strength work in the gym – I really didn’t know what I was doing without having a good coach in my corner. This is why I love the Fitness Industry! After attaining my cert 4 in 2009, I’ve been a Personal Trainer ever since.

While I have a love for coaching at all different levels of sport performance, I also have a love for training a new gym member just looking to get started, change their body shape, improve their posture, and feel better within their own skin.

“Life has no remote – get up and change it yourself”. The hardest part is getting started, but yes it’s
worth it!
