Health Hub Townsville: Newsletter July ’18

NEW! The Pavillion Café

 

 

 

We proudly announce the opening of the Pavilion Café! The cafe is a new service for all our patrons of the Health Hub building! We embrace the importance of a healthy lifestyle. From freshly brewed dominion coffee, (herbal) teas and refreshing drinks, over to smoothies, protein shakes and pre prepared meals, the cafe offers everything your healthy and active lifestyle requires.

 

SOON: 8 Week Challenge

8 Week Challenge: We finished the second 8-week challenge of 2018! Our participants turned out to get into shape while enjoying life and having loads of fun!  The last 8 weeks were full of motivation, support & education about health, fitness and wellbeing. CrossFit Club Night

CrossFit Tropics hosted its first ever Club Night and it was fantastic! Many members and their families and friends came along for a late night CrossFit session. We would like to thank all participants and helpers for such a successful and fun event (check out the pictures) and are looking forward to our next Club Night! If you are interested, our Beginners courses start soon again at North Shore & our CBD location.


 

NEW Gymnastics Workshop

We hosted a gymnastics workshop with CrossFit and Gymnastic coach Laken Watt  at Strand Crossfit,  on Sunday, 29th July. The workshop ran for 4 hours and covered all areas of gymnastics. The course was suitable for all levels of experience and was a great way to improve gymnastic skills! 

 

 

NEWS: Hit The Hill

Your Strand Fitness family is calling you to hit the hill! The event supports those impacted by mental health and calls for a 24-hour suicide prevention walk. Hit the Hill takes place from August 11th to 12th at Castle Hill, you will be walking up and down the hill to gather support for our community. The walk is for a good cause and you can be part of it!
